As a seasoned Global Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), JT brings more than two decades of expertise spanning more than 30 countries. JT served as the first CISO of an enterprise spanning eight countries and with more than $5.5 billion in annual revenue in 2023.

Specializing in incident response, threat intelligence, and security operations, JT has been instrumental in architecting and building global security teams across five continents. An advocate for accountability and risk-based decision making, JT has a proven track record of preparing IT organizations for financial audits, insurer reviews, and matters involving outside counsel.

 

JT develops strategies to integrate artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies into the business framework with an eye toward future trends and their implications for security.

 

Before stepping into the role of Global CISO, JT served as the Director of Security Operations and Incident Response at Ernst & Young and the Global Director for Incident Response, Threat Intelligence and Forensic Investigations at Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati, Ohio.

 

JT honorably served as a Special Agent with the U.S. Secret Service, specializing in electronic crimes and critical systems protection before joining the protection detail in Washington DC, where he served at The White House, the Naval Observatory and DHS Headquarters. During this time, JT held a Top Secret, Sensitive Compartmented Information, and Special Access Programs (TS/SCI/SAP) clearance.

 

He holds an Executive CISO certification from Carnegie Mellon University's Heinz College, and maintains CISSP accreditation from ISC².
